Choice Music Prize shortlist announced



The short list for the Selection Music Plunder: Irish whisky Album of the Year 2007 has been announced.
Delorentos, Cathy Davey and The Flaws entirely feature amongst the nominees, octet of whom give birth released their albums independently.
The other seven nominees are Hadrian Crowley, Dry County, David Geraghty, Kila, Roisin White potato, Sir Henry Morton Stanley Superintendent 800 and Super Extra Bonus Party.
The short list was selected by a panel of 12 Irish people music media professionals and the overall success will be chosen by this panel at the Choice Euphony Award event at Vicar Street, Capital of Ireland on 27 February.
The winning act will get €10,000, as well as a particularly commissioned accolade.
Tickets for the Choice Music Trophy live case will go on sale from entirely Ticketmaster outlets on 14 January, priced €27.
